Are you a school garden coordinator, an extension professional, a teacher that does school gardening, a librarian, or someone else who incorporates Farm to School and gardening into their work?
Want to learn a successful way to get into schools and in front of youth that is data driven and teacher informed?
If you are, then Growing Teachers Throughout the Seasons (GTS) might be for you! GTS is a curriculum designed to garden a long a school schedule from September to May. It walks you through everything you need, to get started growing using 3 different methods (indoor seed starting kit, raised bed, and hydroponic growing with an Aerogarden). The curriculum also incorporates learning connections to language arts, science, math, technology, arts, plus suggestions recipes to have students and youth taste test their own harvest!
We are offering 3 Train the Trainer dates that will use a hands-on approach to the information in the curriculum and the supplementary online Scarlet Canvas course.
