October is National Farm to School Month and to celebrate, Ohio participates in the Great Apple Crunch as a fun way to:

🍎 Support local farmers
🍎 Highlight local foods
🍎 Learn all about apples
What is it?
The Apple Crunch is simply an event where you get a group of people (classroom, school, family, coworkers, etc.) together, buy local apples, and bite into apples together at the same time! It is also an opportunity to learn about your local foods!

After registering, you will receive an Apple Crunch Guide that includes lesson plans and other materials for your crunch day!
When is the “Crunch?”
The “Crunch” across Ohio and our neighboring Midwest states takes place on October 10th at NOON!
